The Enchanted Deer: A Hunter's Encounter with the Supernatural

Description

I am Ahsan Ali Danish, and have heard this tale from a friend, it was narrated by a hunter from Gol and goes like this: I had a friend from Turmik Rondo and we were both hunting buddies. He used to visit me in Gol, and I used to visit him in Turmik to see Haji Ghulam Hussain. One day, I heard that my friend was ill, so I went to check on him and asked why he had fallen ill. He replied that he had gone hunting but couldn't find any animal to hunt. So, he was very distressed and took refuge in a cave at night. That night, he saw a strange scene: supernatural beings had gathered there as it was their sacrificial day. One of them asked what they would use for the sacrifice. At that moment, a supernatural had hunted a large deer and sacrificed it. The hunter witnessed this scene as if it were playing out on a screen. In moments, the deer's meat was separated and put into a pot to cook, and then they started eating it with great pleasure. The hunter was very hungry and reached out to take a piece of meat. The supernatural beings couldn't see the hunter, but he could see all of them. The hunter had heard that there is a one-way veil between us and the supernatural beings. When all the meat was finished, they started to reassemble the bones, but they couldn't find one bone that the hunter had eaten. They wondered where that one bone had gone. Then, a skilled giant carved a bone from wood to match the missing rib and placed it among the others. He then recited some incantations, and the deer's meat, skin, and fur reappeared, and the deer came back to life and ran towards the pasture. The hunter saw all this and returned overnight. A month later, he went hunting again and saw a large deer. He fired at the deer, which fell, and he then sacrificed it. When he removed the skin, he saw the same wooden rib. After killing the deer, the hunter fell ill because he had killed it again despite having witnessed its previous sacrifice.
