The lion Groom - a Father's Promise

Description

#story to be pasted into the data baseOnce upon a time an old man was troubled by the fact that his only daughter remained unmarried. One day, he told her that he would offer her hand in marriage to whoever came to their door first the next morning. His daughter agreed. The next morning, a lion appeared at their door. Keeping his word, the old man gave his daughter's mar-riage proposal to the lion and sent her to live in the jungle. Thereafter the old man was distraught, believing the lion must have eaten his daughter. Determined to find out her fate, he ventured into the jungle and stumbled upon a hut. Inside, he found his very happy daughter. She welcomed him and revealed that her husband was not a lion but a human being. Sceptical, the old man asked where her husband had gone. She explained that he was out hunting in the jungle. When the husband returned, the old man saw that he was a very handsome man. Astonished and overjoyed, the old man could hardly believe his eyes. He decided to live with his daughter and her husband, relieved and happy with the unexpected turn of events.
