Resisting the Temptation of the Bird-Shaped Fairies

Description

When I was younger, there was a place in which we used to grow crops and my calf was tied in the field. One day, I went to the field to provide some fodder to the calf as there were mulberry trees around the field. On seeing the mulberry, I wished to eat some of its fruits after providing fodder to the calf. To this end I climbed the tree and while eating some mulberries I remembered an old saying of our elders that one should never visit such a tree during evening times alone. Thus, I was a little scared and quickly came down from the tree and I saw two birds sitting in front of the tree. The two birds followed me along the way to my old home, actually they made me follow the path by controlling my mind. On the way, one of my elder relatives named Khan saw me and asked: "What has happened to you, why did the colour of your face has turned red? I ignored him and left without answering him which was a sign of disrespect." My uncle scolded me for not answering him. Anyways, I reached my home and saw the same two birds at the balcony of the window who were telling me to come with them. But I refused saying that I am already married, do have children, and thus can't come with you. Slowly those birds turned into two women one was a little weird-faced and the second was of normal look. As I refused to give in, they spelled my heart and I started following them to a place a few yards away. There, I lost my consciousness and as I was about to fall, some people held me up and brought me back to home. At the time there was a syed82 in Jutial [settlement in Gilgit] who used to cure and was good in taking away bad evils. So, I went to him he cured me and also ordered the fairies to come in front of him. The fairies told the syed that they wanted me. One of them had two daughters and she wanted to marry her daughter to me. However, I refused again by saying that I can't since I am already married. Thereafter the fairies promised to never attack me again and they left in the shape of blue mosquitos, thereafter I recovered.
