An Encounter with a Jinn
Description
One night, as I was about to sleep, a jinn appeared from outside and claimed the house as his own. I was baffled and insisted that it was my house but the jinn threatened me proposing a fight: if I won, the Jinn would leave forever; if the jinn won, I would die, leaving no one in my family. We fought fiercely and I was severely injured by the jinn's blows, feeling blood seeping from every part of my body. Eventually, I managed to defeat the jinn and collapsed exhausted on the ground. When I regained consciousness, the jinn was gone. My wife, tearful and worried, called a local religious authority (molvi) who invoked Allah (Azan) and prayed for my recovery, and indeed after a few days I recovered fully from the ordeal.
