Sale of Agricultural Products

Description

In the village [of Shimshal], we do a lot of hard work as we cultivate different kinds of vegetables, carrots, turnips, and other. We also dry apricots and sell them together with fresh apples. We also take a lot of advantage of the sale of apricot oil that others use for their households. Our husbands, brothers, sons, and fathers all help us, they pick apricots and apples from the trees for us and they are the ones who sell them for us. But if we want, we can also go [to the market] and sell these products ourselves either in the village or outside [...]. All people in the village work hard, do what they can and take advantage of their land and fruit orchards.
