The Canal Project and the Saint
Description
Today, I will tell you the following story:
A few years ago, a canal was being dug and in connection with this, many machinery and workers came here to work on the canal. While digging it, they reached a place where there was the [hidden] grave of a Peer Sahib. But because they did not know it, their machines stopped working when those machines tried to open the trench. People did not understand what the problem was and it continued for two or three days and one day, suddenly, the machine caught fire. One night, a man dreamed that there was [the tomb of] a Peer Sahib who appeared in his dream and told him that there was his grave and if one changed the path of the trench, work would continue smoothly. The next morning, the man gathered all the workers and told them about his dream. People then changed the course of the canal, so the machines worked well, and after the canal was completed, people built a shrine there to pay homage to [the Peer Sahib]. Many people go there to pray and make their wishes come true. Most people also bring a jug of milk and those who do not have children go there barefoot and subsequently have children.
