The Knowledgeable Desert Cat

Description

I am Ali and I am going to tell you a tale of a desert village where there used to be a cat whose eyes were beautiful and bright. One day a young village child got sick and the local [traditional] doctor (hakeem) told the villagers that his condition would only recover if he received a specific medicinal herb. However, none of the villagers knew where this herb could be found. Thus at night the village cat choose one of the intelligent shepherds from the village and with the help of his tail guided him to the place where the herb grew. The shepherd collected the herb and went back to the village. After a few days the young boy had recovered and the entire village was happy and thankful to the cat for helping them. In return the villagers committed not to harm any animal in the future.
