BioRestBrennstoff - Stoffdatenbank aus Brennstoffanalysen
Description
The BRB material database is an outcome of the BMWK-funded research project 'BioRestBrennstoff' and includes analysis results from the laboratory testing of materials (BRB_Materialien), the generated biorest fuels and their mixtures from combustion trials (BRB_Brennstoffe), as well as the ashes for further evaluation of ash melting behavior (BRB_Ascheanalytik). Various materials were analyzed, including compost oversize materials from bio-waste treatment obtained through three processing campaigns, silage from grassland residues, pellets produced using the IFBB process (Integrated Solid Fuel and Biogas Production from Biomass), as well as woody reference fuels. For the individual materials from the compost oversize, the fraction-specific composition is presented (SÜ-Zusammensetzungen). The aim of this database is to expand the data repository for material data of biogenic residues and waste. The database can be extended or adapted in its structure for individual analyses. A particular focus was put on the clear identification of reference conditions, ensuring that the data is transparent and unambiguously described. The results from the project are comprehensively detailed in the project’s final report. Consequently, for a thorough documentation of the materials, methods used, and the results obtained, reference is made to the final report.
